The sky is kind of dark yesterday; meaning it's going to rain, heavily. Upon hearing the dogs barking outside the lab, I frantically went outside to investigate. Then I saw two things: small snake crawling under my motorcycle and beautiful, fascinating, rounded moon gleaming behind the dark skies.

Synopsis / Plot / Review

Feeling responsible, Soo-ta requests Gang-pae, whom he met by chance, to play alongside him in the movie in order to save the production. Hi..! Long time no see aa... It's really not my intention to leave the blog 'idle' but (why there's always be 'but'?) I truly got some other thing to attend to 'sigh'. Anyway, enough being kipas susah mati of the Korean movies (...hehe...!) now I turned my eyes to its drama la plak. Memang best ging.. Sampai tidak tidur malam. I'm Sorry I Love You

Cha Moo Hyuk was adopted by an Australian family, but was abused and left homeless at an early age. Growing up on the streets, he meets all sorts of people until one day he comes across Song Eun Chae. Eun Chae is the coordinator for Choi Yune, a famous singer in Korea, whom she is secretly in love with. Her fateful encounter with Moo Hyuk ends up affecting not only her life but that of her precious Yune as well.

Because of an accident involving his ex-girlfriend, Moo Hyuk is left with 3 months to live. This leads him to head back to Korea in search of his biological mother. It's Kinda Funny... Priest on Vacation

Two Priests decided to go to Hawaii on vacation. They were determined to make this a real vacation by not wearing anything that would identify them as clergy. As soon as the plane landed they headed for a store and bought some really outrageous shorts, shirts, sandals, sunglasses, etc. The next morning they went to the beach dressed in their "tourist" garb. They were sitting on beach chairs, enjoying a drink, the sunshine and the scenery when a "drop dead gorgeous" topless blonde in a thong bikini came walking straight towards them. They couldn't help but stare. As the blonde passed them she smiled and said "Good Morning, Father. Good Morning, Father," nodding and addressing each of them individually, then she passed on by. They were both stunned. How in the world did she know they were priests? So the next day, they went back to the store and bought even more outrageous outfits. These were so loud you could hear them before you even saw them! Once again, in their new attire, they settled on the beach in their chairs to enjoy the sunshine. After a while, the same gorgeous topless blonde, wearing a different colored thong, taking her sweet time, came walking toward them. Again she nodded at each of them, said "Good morning, Father. 'Good morning, Father," and started to walk away. One of the Priests couldn't stand it any longer and said, "Just a minute, young lady." "Yes, Father?" Hey hey...what ASTRO Cinemax got in store lately. Yeah, you guess it right... The very movie that launch Johnny Depp into serious movie acting. Gosh..never believe Cry-Baby, with such a simple plot and lame dialogue would blow my mind away. Couldn't leave my eyes even a single moment from the TV screen... What's the winning factor then? Could it be the actors/actress...? or the fantastic Teh C Special....ehehe...dunno...

Cry-Baby is a 1990 musical directed by John Waters. It stars Johnny Depp as 1950s teen rebel Wade "Cry-Baby" Walker, and also features an expansive cast that includes Iggy Pop, Traci Lords, Ricki Lake, David Nelson, Susan Tyrrell and Patty Hearst. This film did not achieve high audience numbers in its initial release but has subsequently become a cult movie.

The film is a parody of teen musicals such as Grease, of Elvis Presley movies, and of 1950s 'juvenile delinquent' movies such as The Wild One and (specifically) Rebel Without a Cause. (Johnny Depp has said more than once that he took the role to poke fun at the teen-idol hysteria surrounding him during his days on the TV show 21 Jump Street.) It centers on a group of delinquents named the Drapes and their interaction with the rest of the town and its other subculture, the Squares, in 1950s Baltimore, Maryland.

It's been a while...

Been very busy for the past few weeks, so forgive me for not spending some time to update. There's nothing much though, to say or to write while you're busy right?

Well, somehow I manage to steal some precious time to fish at Sg Kinarut. I got sunburned all over the face and hands! It was Saturday... and annoyingly, after few hours fishing, out of the sudden it was raining.

Akademi Fantasia 6 has been a total hampehs for me... except for si Stacy. You Go Girl! Kau lah Makhluk Paling Seksi di alam semesta (remember iklan Coco crunch) ...hehehe...

I do some karaokeing sometimes and much to my surprise I could sing all those high note songs... including the song I got from Youtube, Over My Shoulder by Mike & the Mechanics.

Le Grand Chef (Korean Movie)

Yeah...! At last the downloading process of Le Grand Chef is now finished! Can't wait to watch this comedy/drama Korean movie tonite. I hope the movie has some Yakitate! Japan theme with it. Here's the details:

Synopsis:

At a press conference, a cooking knife of a special spirit is being presented to the public. The knife belongs to the last Korean royal chef of the Chosun Dynasty who cut his arms with this knife to show his loyalty to the king and the country. The Japanese bureaucrat at the time was deeply moved by his conviction and returned to Japan with this knife.

Now, his son has come to Korea to return the precious knife back to the one who really deserves to own it and announces a cooking contest to find the best cook for this knife. Thus the destined match between the grandsons of the two apprentices of the royal chef has begun!

Elo all... Ya, lama juga nda update the blog. I'm attending a meeting+presentation at MOSTI Putrajaya and as usual, when talking bout about Putrajaya, I must be staying with c Juan sana Pinggiran Putra. Everything the same la except for some blue & green posters+flags here and there... Seeing that I'm only there for two days, I cud only roaming around those nearby shopping malls *sigh*... Anyway, while 'jalan-jalan' at Jusco, we stumbled upon this small stall selling Dorayaki.... Hehehehe... No wonder Doraemon loves the 'kueh', it's so yummy and delicious and etc etc... *ahaks*

Family Picnic @ Kawang

It was the third day of Chinese New Year. We have planned it all along, even before New Year 31 Dec. We have initially decided to have our family picnic at Kiulu River, but damn it would take us one-long-hour of driving to get there. Seeing that it would cost us another RM of minyak, we have to cancel Kiulu...

Then, Kawang comes to my mind. Well, it's nearer and others said that the place is not so bad. True to their words, it's not so bad after all. See for yourself...

There's something different 'bout today.

Suddenly I felt so outdated, so obsolete! Hehehe... it's the V Day rupanya. Wah... never knew there's one special day for your loved ones ever existed! I love everyone: my family, friends, cousins, aunties, uncles, nephews etc etc....my Lancer (hehe...never forget) EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Ada urang komplen sia nda update blog.... Hahahaha... Well, it's not my intention to leave the blog unattended. I've been very busy lately, especially on the eve of Sabah Development Corridor launching. Anyway, I have a valid reason to be cheerful today. My Lancer just got home after spending several days 'lepaking' at the workshop. You won't believe how much I've spent on that car. Hehehe... been thinking to add more power to the engine. Dunno yet, see my budget first.

We had CNY & X'mas Lunch with all office staffs yesterday. I should congratulate the organiser for the delicious and somewhat healthy (I guess..) buffet lunch. Although it looks 'cheap' but 'sedap' la.. What more to say kan...

I got two more reports with 'dateline' to be finished ASAP. Guess I won't be spending the CNY holiday with happy, clear mind after all... 'sigh'. To all my blogger friends out there, I just want to wish you all Happy Chinese New Year 2008 and Welcum all to the Year of the Rat...!

Is it just me or the K800i....? I don't know. I've found that in actual fact the photo quality of this camera phone is quite below average... I mean, compared to other camera phone, especially those nokia n series... So, see for yourself and tell me.

After attending some wedding reception at Tamparuli, on our way back, we managed to stop-by to this place. All I can say is that the place is so beautiful, with breathtaking view and warm afternoon breezing air, surely those millionaires wouldn't mind spending some few thousands here to rest in eternity.

Phew... I did finally found those photos of me and Juan while attending my cousin's wedding at Bintulu, Sarawak. We all went there using FAX and this would be my second trip to Sarawak. What surprised me the most is that almost the whole town resident here is Chinese... and the 10/3 is sold openly and banyak pub...hehehe...jan pikir yang bukan-bukan...

Family cemetery cleaning is one of our family annual activity where all able family members get-together and do some filial duty to our ancestors by cleaning up all their graves. Well, it might seems physically all of us doing the menebas, mencangkul and memotong work, but in fact it is the day for all family members to meet and get to know those distant cousins/nephews/aunties/uncles. It is like...waktu kahwin pun berjumpa, time mati pun berjumpa juga...ehehe...

Fishing @ Pulau Tiga

Lalalala.... we go fishing again! This time at Pulau Tiga. Wow...what a weather we all have to endure! It's only us and no other...Juan, BB and me...so we have ample space on the boat, no need to berebut-rebut...as what happened during our fishing trip to Pulau Mengalum.

Wah...I got two medium-sized ikan putih! Dorang Juan dapat juga la...so does si BB, Raja Kerapu (ada ka dia ja dapat kerapu)...

...Ehehe... Like there's no other place in Semenanjung Malaysia, if not KL, it must be Putrajaya...! I was participating in this workshop on regulatory procedure for traditional medicines at Park Royal, KL. After that, I managed to get a few days leave to visit si Juan. Stay at his place to save duit hotel...hehe. Well, it's quite boring...really, just goyang-goyang kaki....tengok TV...

Anyway, I finally made it to Juan's office...hehehe...I don't really know if it permissible to do so. Tau la the fed's office ni manyak Urusan Seri Paduka Baginda... But rest assured, I haven't...no, I won't touch anything there...except for snapping some photos to be shown around (hehe!) back home...

And again... I was sent to Johor to attend BioJohor 2007. I made a pit stop at Putrajaya to visit si Juan. Staying there for several days...boring mangkali dia tu tengok muka sia saja. Imagine ba, within a month dua kali pigi Semenanjung nih.

But this time got si Melissa staying with si Juan juga. Hehe...dapat juga pigi tengok pertunjukan bunga api sempena merdeka nih..

The height of Kaamatan Festival celebrated by the Kadazandusun is held here, the building with giant 'gongs' hanging on some part of the external walls. I wonder if the story about some of the gongs got stolen by some rascals is true...enlighten me please.

Not @ Home... At Putrajaya! (Volume One)

Huhu... went to Putrajaya after just returning for a few hours from deep sea fishing. I was asked to attend a seminar at IOI Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya. It's not that I don't like attending seminar, or being with my brother at Putrajaya... It's just that I'm so tired like shit! Still I find it that it must be exhilarating for you all to see the hotel. It is for sure an exclusive and perfect hideout for the rich & famous. It got golf course, swimming pool, gym etc.

Oh.. it's true then. People were asking: "Why are you so gelap?". Well my dear friends.. It's not gonna be long before you see those dark complexion gone away...hahaha. MARI MEMANCING! (LET'S GO FISHING!)

Ha..ha.. Lama tak update blog sebab tak de kat rumah atau ofis. I'm happily doing the thing I love most in the middle of the wide open sea. The naysayer said that the current condition ie. the weather is not so permissive at the time of our departure. Well, now I'm back and I could prove that they're all wrong.

Hehe.. what could I say. Almost unrecognisable, kan? Got nothing else to do while waiting for THE OTHERS (as in LOST), I managed to snapped one or two photos for the pleasure of you all..hehehe.

Yah... Keep it up, guys! Nobody says that waiting is cool.. Joy, takkan serius!

Among the boats parking at the port. You could actually rent almost every boats berth here. But from I hear, the rates are ever changing, depending on how much you befriended with the boss. Alahai.. Sabah.. Sabah..

Our boat. Cantik kan.. Ada jamban @ toilet lagi tu. Dan yang bestnya boleh mandi.

Lalala... we're leaving the port. The view of Kota Kinabalu from afar is somewhat fantastic. Nda caya try la pegi tengok sendiri..

That's a Mengalun Island. There's a nice resort recently built on that island. Wah, should become another tourist attraction site next after the pulaus of Tun Abdul Rahman Park.

Hehe... Quite a catch juga la.. I got lape, ikan putih, kerapu, titir, kerisi, pisang-pisang etc. (nda tau apa nama ikan..ehe..) and some sunburn over the face... Pa boleh buat, dah hardcore kan..? Yang penting: ENJOY!!!!

Episode Three: Journey to Sandakan!

Elo and welcome!
Hehe... Let's continue the journey with the new episode: Episode Three!
Turtle Islands...here I come!

We started here at the Sandakan Harbour Square jetty, just in front of the new pasar. Being the centre of attention, we tried to brush aside the embarrassment feeling by thinking of the joy being at the well-known Turtle Islands.

Lalalala....we are now leaving the jetty. Wow, got a nice view of the whole sea -facing Sandakan town!

I usually got to see this on the tourist guide pamphlet or on the postcard...but now the Berhala Island is right in front of my face. Tourist used to stop by here on the island to do some rock climbing...but no more. Due to the security and safety, I guess..

Haha...so proud of wearing the safety jacket. Like sakai people ni... The breezing wind is so cooling that I don't feel hotty even wearing multi layered shirt+jackets!

Yeah....finally the destined island is on our sight. It's a small island, no bigger than Tiga Island I guess...

Minimum contamination + controlled tourism activities + daily beach cleaning up = See for yourself..

The corals.... at the north tip of the island. Those in the photo are dead corals... if I have the courage to stroll more ahead... maybe I got the chance to take more of 'em, live one!

Not only Selingan Island, we are also brought to Bakungan Kecil Island to see the turtle hatchment facilities.

See...? I'm really proud for the conservation efforts by the relevant authorities here in Sabah.

This is something unexpected. The moment we arrived at the island, one of the turtle nest hatched! Wah, those small creature are so cute + pretty!

Then, finally... we got a chance to released the baby turtle. Pity....only 5% of them will survive in the wide open sea.

They are quite remarkable creatures..the turtle. I think I will have to spend more time in the blog to tell a story of this poor creature... Coming soon!

Episode Two: Journey to Sandakan!

Semasa menghadiri bengkel di Sandakan juga peserta kursus dibawa melawat tempat-tempat yang menarik di sana. Banyak pengalaman menarik sepanjang lawatan tersebut. Antaranya....

Welcome!!!! Baru sia perasan skema pula pakaian sia pada waktu tu..hehehe.

Cantik design pusat pemuliharaan ni..

Sudah register nama... berjalanlah dengan ranger menuju tempat orang utan. Ngam juga tu orang utan mo kena kasi makan sudah.

Macam tau-tau saja tu orang utan bah waktu makan dia. Semasa dorang makan pisang goreng, itu ranger kasi tunjuk papan tanda "SILENCE". Then, the audience pun macam tau-tau juga pun berdiam diri. Ada juga lah yang galangas di belakang. Ketawa-ketawa lagi tu. Macam sia mo tendang. The macaques wouldn't let the orang utan steal the show, they also trying hard to woo the audiences with their funny yet exhilarating acts.

Nah... inilah si Jen (nda tau la kalau betul nama dia ni..hehehe..dengar orang cakap saja). Not the orang utan but the orang putih. Buli-buli juga si Jen ni hehehe... She's one of the volunteer yang taking care of the baby orang utan. My salute goes to all of you volunteers! Susa-susa saja datang dari jauh ....ehe.

Baby orang utan at this centre akan dijaga pemakanannya dan diajar bergayut atas tali. For as long as this centre still exist, I believe the kebajikan of the orang utan akan trus terjamin. Syabas kepada petugas-petugas Jabatan Hidupan Liar Sabah! Teruskan usaha anda...

Bah... bersedialah kamurang untuk menengok gambar-gambar menarik sempena pemergianku ke Sandakan... hehehe...

Nahhhh...kannn.... Belum lagi sudah berposing gila-gila. Di depan pasar Harbour Square.

Ni lah mungkin sebab bergambar membelakangi cahaya. Lagipun, mendung bah pada waktu tu. Di pasar juga.

Ini pula setelah selesai program suai kenal semasa bengkel EIA di Hotel Sandakan. Rasanya satu urang saja sia yang berposing begini kuikuikuikui...

Ini adalah pasar baru di bandar Sandakan. Bangunan yang dulu dah dirobohkan untuk pembinaan bangunan eksklusif yang lain. Depan tu juga ada jeti di mana para nelayan menurunkan hasil tangkapan ikan setiap pagi.

Beginilah gambaran dalaman pasar baru tersebut. Bersih dan menarik.

Bah....jaga-jaga kamurang. Start sudah sia siok sendiri ni. Kasi tayang henpon Sony Ericsson K800i sia tu. Semua gambar blog sia ambil pakai henpon ni.

Jalan raya menuju ke bandar lama Sandakan. Sebelum tu ada la tembok menghadap laut yang mana korang boleh nampak bah kapal-kapal besar berlabuh. I finally found some sound spot to fish. Nantilah... kalau umur panjang boleh juga memancing sini ni.

This pic was taken during my visit to Putrajaya somewhere in 2006. The night scenery in Putrajaya is so beautiful because of the lights. Dunno how much they pay to TNB every month.

What I like being the bestman is the chance to wear nice shoes and clothes. The pic was captured using SE K800i. Just arrived at the church.

Visiting Banggi Island

Yes, I've been to Banggi Island some time ago. Quite interesting and adventurous. We even spend some night renting a big boat to fish. Quite a catch, you know. Though equipped only with the basic fishing apparatus (no fishing rod & reel), I managed to land 2 middle sized fishes (don't know the name though). Here's several photos I managed to capture using the Nikon 4 megapixel camera (now 'hangkang', cannot be used).

Small town of Banggi Island. The photo is taken from the nearby seaweed collection centre.

Look at the water. So clear that you could even see the bottom. The mixture of soft greenish and bluish color bring out the serenity of the entire island. The locals sure knows how to keep their environment clean.

The bridge to Banggi Town. Ya, you could see down under the bridge the dancing fishes waiting to be caught! Such nostalgic feeling...

Just look at the clear water at my back. Strong gushing winds, fresh air and warm temperature: This would spell perfect 'heaven' for honeymooners...hehehe...

My worn out shoe, surprisingly I still use it until now.

Haha... Sweet and salty tea. Served hot during our visit to one of the seaweed planting sites. Salty huh...? Guess they're using the sea water... What else could you expect if live in the middle of the wide open sea...!

Nah, ni lah wajah 'hantu' @ 'lolou' sy. Di Seri Kembangan bah ni. Melawat kawan.

Bah... apa ni? Haha.. sempat juga sy ambil foto chandelier di Impiana KLCC Hotel. Best o hotel ni. Sy recommend those interested to spend sum time shopping etc at KL.

Ni lah pancing sia. Rod: Seahawk. Reel: Okuma. Murahan saja bah..

Yg ni sia atas tongkang. Pegi memancing bah. Bekangkang lagi tuh, nasip baik nda nampak burung. Yg blakang sia tu si BB.

Cantik kan panorama matahari terbenam ni. Ngam-ngam ada oil rig lagi nun jauh di sana. Susah tau dapat ambil foto yang perfect sebegini. Cis.. sempat lagi angkat bakul...

Foto ni diambil waktu mau senja juga. Ini bagus sikit ada awan-awan lagi. Sengsara juga la di laut pada waktu tu sebab agak kuat gelora ombaknya.

Sempat lagi bah ambil foto TLDM punya kapal. Sangat besar pula warship ni..
